Leslie Brack received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she currently resides in New York. Leslie cuts and pastes various magazine clippings and then renders the collages into a painting. Through oils on panel, Brack explores imagery and text that symbolize the pan-cultural, pan-social American dream of a betterlife. Her work is colorful and brings together various aspects of pop culture. She is an emerging artist and definitely one to watch in the next few years.
