Chris Griffin's art career spans more than twenty years.
Her work has been on display in over fifty exhibitions in
the US and in other countries. Her work is included in the
book Lines of Vision as well as in over thirty
other reviews, publications and catalogs. She lives in New
York City.
Originally trained as a painter, Griffin has been making
sculptural objects and installations for the last ten years.
Currently, her work makes use of artificial flowers as a
primary medium. Her sculptural work has focused around particular
themes common to the female and ultimately human experience.
As an artist Griffin is interested in creating an object
that can exist by itself, contain its own identity, and
simultaneously have the ability to represent a larger abstraction.
